TUMMY TIME

0 - 5 Months

Place the Duck on the mat in front of your little one (roughly 20cm away) while they are doing tummy time. This provides a clear focal point to help them push through. If needed, you can shake it a little to jingle the bell to draw their attention to the Duck.

REACHING

5 - 10 Months

While your little one is on their tummy, place the Duck just out of reach. You can jingle it or crinkle the wings to get their attention and encourage them to reach for it.
Alternate between in front and either side to get all the muscles moving.

TOY BAR REACHING

0 - 9 Months

Hang the Duck on a toy bar above your little one with the face facing theirs. Make sure it is within a distance that they can see and reach it. This encourages little ones to work on their hand eye coordination.

TRACKING

1 - 4 Months

To assist in tracking, hold the Duck roughly 20cm in front of your little and slowly move the Duck left and right, and up and down, encouraging them to turn or tilt their head to follow the Duck. Make sure the movements are slow to begin with and as they get stronger their movements will be smoother.

PREFERRED SIDE CORRECTION AID

0 - 4 Months

If your little one has a preferred side that they tend to turn to that needs balancing out, you can use the Duck. Place the Duck on the opposite side to the one they preference while they are on the mat. You can jingle or crinkle the Duck to get their attention to help them turn to look.
